At PBS North Carolina, I led archival image research, wrote episode scripts, and made thumbnails for two YouTube explainer shows: Rogue History—about pirates and spies—and Far Out—about the future.

    • Co-produced the YouTube explainer series “Rogue History" and "Far Out.”

    • Researched topics, conducted interviews, and wrote long-form video scripts.

    • Led image sourcing for all archival, stock, and user-generated visuals, tracking usage rights and advising on licensing and crediting.

    • Wrote eye-catching social copy, added SEO metadata, and crafted thumbnails, stills, and GIFs in collaboration with the PBS Digital Studios team.

    • The Rogue History episode on women pirates won a Gold Telly Award in the Online - History category.

    • The Rogue History episode about Japanese pirates—for which I was a lead writer—was the second most viewed episode that season.

    • Created Asset Sourcing Guide with recommended sources of archival imagery.
